Mr. Morissette has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, which he obtained in 1996. He previously worked as a hydraulic development engineer and project manager, in several companies. Since 2009, he has been dedicating himself to conducting technical investigations in the fields of general mechanical systems, building equipments and fires involving vehicles and buildings.
Mr. Morissette has conducted over a thousand investigations.
He took many specialized courses, earning the subsequent titles : Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (NAFI-CFEI), Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator (NAFI-CVFI). He also completed the course Technique d’appareils au gaz, Classe 1 (TAG 1) and several other type of trainings.
His extensive knowledge of mechanics is a huge asset to Origin Forensic Science.
